Bad Politics And Bad Economics: Towards World War 3

The world is in danger of plunging into the abyss of another world war. This time it will be even more terrible than the two world wars that had wreaked so much havoc and misery in the past. This time, it may be a nuclear holocaust and the end of human civilization. In many countries around the world, including many that claim to be democratic, political power is largely concentrated in the political elite and the group of powerful capitalists. The vicious game of politics is being played by arrogant politicians everywhere who thrive on terrible confrontations and profit from the corrupt economy, both internally and internationally. The phenomenal growth of cryptocurrencies, virtual economy and the ballooning national debts pose great dangers to all countries. This book examines all these existential issues and discusses what we can do to change the rule of the game. It is time the people make it clear that they want peace, not wars. It is time we prevent a reverse cold war and WW3 from happening. Finally, drawing on the valuable lessons provided by the many human cultures and civilizations that have thrived or failed throughout history, a range of bold new options and ideas for the future development of the emerging world civilization is examined. These options include the rebooting of the vicious political game that is being played by nations around the world as well as the legal, moral and problem-solving framework that is rapidly changing in various countries. A brave new world civilization has to be evolved using new principles and doctrines to avoid the disaster of a failed civilization and to take humankind to the next level of development. All these are necessary to ensure the survival of humankind over the vagaries of climate change and the deadly clash of civilizations. If humankind does not get this right, the Second Millennium could well prove to be the final millennium for humankind and for earth as the only habitable planet in the solar system.
