Sexing Cockatiels & Genetics 101

What I have done is combined two of my articles to create the eBook. I start off with section 1 (Cockatiel Genetics) that covers basic the basic points of genetics. In gaining this knowledge it will be your cornerstone to understanding when you pair up your Cockatiels for better results. This will take some of the guesswork out of 'Why' things didn't go as expected. All the information in Section 1 will be very helpful when you would like to know the sex of your Cockatiel. Section 2 (Sexing Cockatiels) covers the various techniques that were used prior to DNA. This eBook is photo rich in visual and teachable illustrations. Each section complements the other in supportive information. Shown are many Pre-DNA era methods that can still be used and have been proven reliable. The downside of using DNA Sexing is that only thing you will learn is the sex of the bird. What you will not learn is that with each mutation there are several clues to gender.
