CHICAGO II: COLLECTOR’S EDITION 2CD+2LP+DVD
Pubblicato per la prima volta nel gennaio 1970 come Chicago (e solo in seguito rinominato Chicago II), l’album portò il gruppo alla fama internazionale e contiene molte delle hits come “25 Or 6 To 4,” “Make Me Smile” e “Colour My World.”
Nominato a tre Grammy Awards e certificato doppio platino, l’album è anche noto per molti cicli di canzoni a tema unico: “Ballet For A Girl In Buchannon” del trombettista/compositore James Pankow, “Memories Of Love” del chitarrista Terry Kath e il compositore Peter Matz; e “It Better End Soon” del tastierista/vocalista/compositore Robert Lamm.
L’anno scorso la band è tornata alla sua città omonima per registrarlo live!
Registrato agli storici WTTW-TV studios, l’esibizione contiene tutti i brani dell’album, incluse alcune che non sono state suonate dal 1970.
CHICAGO II: COLLECTOR’S EDITION sottolinea la longeva popolarità del secondo album dei Chicago con un’ energica performance di fronte ad un pubblico di fan fedeli alla band. I Chicago continuano tuttora a suonare il proprio album nelle loro date, come anche nel tour che sta per iniziare con REO Speedwagon.
CHICAGO II: COLLECTOR’S EDITION pubblicato il 31 agosto 2018. Contiene la performance al Soundstage su CD e DVD come anche l’album originale Chicago II remixato dall’acclamato produttore Steven Wilson su CD e doppio LP.
